Walter Hurtado, MSPAS, PA-C

Walter, is a highly skilled and compassionate physician assistant with extensive experience across multiple areas of medicine. He is currently based in Fresno, California, and is proud to serve patients as part of the team at Valley ENT.

Originally from Riverside, California, Walter has been a resident of the Central Valley for over two decades. He began his medical career at Loma Linda University, where he earned a degree in Allied Health with a focus on Pediatric Respiratory Care. Committed to advancing his clinical expertise, he went on to graduate from the inaugural Physician Assistant program at Riverside City College.

Throughout his career, Walter has worked in a variety of medical settings, including family medicine and surgical specialties. He successfully managed a family care clinic in Riverside for five years and later spent nearly twenty years in cardiothoracic surgery, serving as a first assist and specializing in vein harvesting for bypass procedures.

It has been a privilege for Walter to care for patients across such a wide range of disciplines. Today, he brings that depth of experience to Valley ENT, where he is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care to the Fresno community and beyond.

Outside of his professional work, Walter enjoys traveling, cooking, and playing pickleball when the weather is nice.
